Hey, I’m Colleen!
My journey with elopements and weddings started over 9 years ago after an intense battle with my mental health. I told myself I would never photograph people, yet alone weddings.
say whaaaaat?
But as someone who has always loved love (cliche, I know), I took a leap of faith and decided to photograph love stories. I literally went full-time as a photographer instead of going to grad school to be a therapist.
because documenting peoples' stories is my way of helping them.
As a neurodivergent, whimsical baddie, I know what it feels like to feel different. Out of place. Like a big ol weirdo.
I've learned that those things are actually all superpowers for creating that stress-free, easy space I keep talking about. A space to be you. A space to celebrate your love authentically. A space to be a lil weird, a lil whimsy, and have a lot of fun.
