If you’re here, you’re probably looking for a stunning engagement session location in North Georgia. North Georgia has a LOT to offer when it comes to beautiful locations, but I have a few favorites I’d love to share.

Vogel State Park

Vogel State Park in Blairsville, GA has everything you could want in an engagement session location- a lake, a waterfall, mountain views, field space, a creek, bridges, and even a mini golf course!

The best part of Vogel is that it photographs beautifully during ANY season. It does require a little bit of walking, but nothing strenuous. There’s ample parking with a $5 parking fee. Since Vogel is a state park that allows campers, you’re likely to see some friendly faces.

Montaluce Winery

Montaluce Winery is another North Georgia location that has so much to offer! Beautiful views, rows of grapes, beautiful Italian-style architecture, string lights, and more located in the little mountain town of Dahlonega, Georgia. Oh, don’t forget about the wine. You can grab dinner and a drink after your session!

Montaluce Winery is another location that offers breathtaking views no matter the season, but spring, summer, and fall will have the most to offer. The winery is kind enough to offer sessions free of charge. You just have to sign a waiver and give it to an employee! The only downside is that you cannot photograph here if there is an event. Helton Creek Falls

If you like adventure, this location is for you. Helton Creek Falls is a stunning waterfall located in Blairsville, GA, close to Vogel State Park. It requires a short, fairly easy hike up to the waterfall. Once you reach the waterfall, there’s is a viewing deck for some easy-peasy photos.

In order to get photos in front of the waterfall, you do have to walk on rocks and logs, but there are plenty of spots to stand where you won’t be in the water! How wet it is just depends on how much it’s rained in the recent days.
