Ashley and Brad had a simple but beautiful elopement in downtown Elljay, Georgia with their two best friends and doggos.
The day started at the first home they purchased together, now an AirBnB, tucked away in the woods on the creek. You’ll see the deer that posed for us, which truly felt like a sign from our loved ones who had passed. I felt SO connected to these two from our initial discovery call, and one of the subjects we connected over was the recent losses of loved ones. Obviously deer live in the woods, but it for it to seemingly pose for the camera felt like a message from above.
After some details, getting ready photos, and photos with the pups, we went to Harrison Park for their private vows, ceremony, and photos! The light was *chef’s kiss.* During their private vows, Ashley gifted Brad with a pin that had a photo of his late father in it. It was so sweet, so emotional, and all around beautiful moment. When it comes to private vows, it’s always my goal to be as discreet as possible and keep my distance so they are indeed private.
After their privates vows, there was a small, quick ceremony to exchange rings. The rest of our time together was dedicated to photos in the park, a little champagne toast, and more photos around downtown Ellijay!
Their day was, in my opinion, everything a wedding or elopement day should be: Simple. Chill. True to them. There was zero rush to be anywhere at any specific time. It was amazing!
