Piedmont Park

Piedmont Park is one of the more popular parks located in Atlanta, with 185+ acres of land that offer skyline views, the Lake Clara Meer dock and gazebo, various venues/event spaces, and more. While you can have your elopement in Piedmont Park for free, you also have the option to rent spaces if you’re worried about weather or just want a little extra privacy. You can rent out the dock, gazebo, and the terrace at Greystone. There are so many other spots throughout the park with great views and photo opportunities. You can also grab a drink at Park Tavern!

Wahoo Grill

Located in Decatur is the stunning and unique Wahoo Grill. If you like a garden vibe, Wahoo Grill is perfect. The ceremony space offers a luscious garden background where you can say your vows. They also have a permanent tented garden patio space, private indoor room, and a semi-private open air/patio space. Say “I do” and then enjoy a yummy meal after, all in one place!

Atlanta History Center

If you’re looking for an elegant, upscale place to have your elopement, the Atlanta History Center is for you. This 33 acre museum and research center offers various gardens and locations that are effortlessly beautiful. You have the option to get hitched at Olguita’s Garden, the Swan House Garden, or the Swan Coach House!

Oakland Cemetery

Don’t let the “cemetery” part spook you…Oakland Cemetery is truly unreal. It expands over 48 acres with stunning gardens and landscaping, statues, and architecture. Despite being a cemetery, it’s FULL of life. They often host community events and art installations. My favorite spot is the Richards mausoleum. It has cacti!! Oakland is actually one of my favorite places in Atlanta to photograph. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby!
