Lewallen Farms is farm nestled on….a lot of acres in Waleska, Georgia. It’s actually a working family farm that just so happens to also host beautiful events! There are so many different amazing photo spots- from creeks to ponds to mountain views with unreal sunsets. The reception space has huge windows and the BEST light.

Katlyn and Jerdon’s wedding was full of love, joy, and plenty of fun. The love they have for one another is beautiful and raw. They had their first look and read their private vows amongst the trees, thunder rolling in the distance. The emotions were indescribable, and you can FEEL them in the photos. Such sweet, tender moments!

When it came time for the ceremony, in came the rain. It was summer after all, but they handled it like champs. It would look like it was about to stop…and then it wouldn’t. Right before the ceremony was about to be moved inside, the rain stopped. The air cooled, and the sky was beautiful. Their ceremony was just as full of joy and emotion as their first look.

Before the party started, we were blessed with THE most beautiful sunset for couples portraits. Even the cows were excited!

And then they partied. This reception was so. much. fun. I don’t think there was a point where the dance floor was empty, and that’s how you party shawty.

These two truly made their day their own and a reflection of their love + the love that their friends and family have for them. I love these two a whole lot, and I’m happy that I gained a couple of friends by being their wedding photographer!
